Are you studying Japanese and want to take the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT)? Then why not take the test in Japan this July? You’ll be able to get away from daily distractions and fully immerse yourself in your studies and the Japanese culture. With 4 weeks in Japan, you’ll be able to work on your conversation abilities at school and then focus on your JLPT studies in the afternoons and weekends on your own. We’ll take care of the paperwork, so you can focus on your studies and of course, to make sure you’ve got a good study/life balance, join some activities to absorb some Japanese culture, as well as the language. Whether it’s getting creative with some indigo tie-dying or practicing your drumming skills at Taiko, studying for your JLPT will be a lot more exciting in Japan!

PLAY

The activities on this trip give you a taste of the traditional culture of Japan, including Taiko, calligraphy and furoshiki.

Lessons are at the Intercultural Institute of Japan one of the older schools in Tokyo. With a central location and lots of experience, you’ll get the best teachers to help you on your way. *Please note you’ll be enrolled in a general Japanese course and not a JLPT prep course. If you are interested in practicing the test, be sure to include the mock test at booking. You will also be provided with our JLPT Study guide and a discount code for our online JLPT Prep Course (N4 and N3 only) to prepare for the exam.

LIVE

The standard accommodation for this trip is a private room in budget accommodation. You will have great access to central Tokyo, basic amenities, and access to coin laundry. Study Trips in Japan

Japan is often described as a country where old meets new in many different ways. This certainly stands true but there’s a lot more to it than tradition and technology. The culture that surrounds this country is diverse and seasonal. While this may seem like an odd description, the distinctions of the seasons and the delights that each one has to offer is unique to this amazing country. Whether it’s exploring the changing nature throughout the year from sakura in spring through to the momiji in autumn, or enjoying the seasonal food throughout the year. Traditional activities are at the centre of a lot of our trips but they’re balanced with lots of cool cultural activities too. Whether you’re dying to try karaoke Japanese style or you want to explore the streets of Akihabara and get lost in an arcade for a day, there’s a chance to do all of them! Find the Study Trip to Japan that suits you best!
