The student enrolled in a work-study BTS in Operational Commercial Management (MCO) is trained to take responsibility for a small business unit or a section of a larger organization (shop, supermarket, sales agency, e-commerce site, etc.).
In this role, they carry out tasks such as team management, performance forecasting and evaluation, customer relationship management, and managing the product and service offering.
Depending on the size of the company and their level of experience, they may hold positions such as department manager, assistant store manager, sales promoter, customer advisor, sales representative, sales consultant, call center agent, branch manager, head cashier, or team leader.

From the initial admissions interview through to the completion of the training program, our Corporate Relations Advisors are dedicated to providing each candidate with active, individualized support to help develop and refine their professional goals.

Individual and group workshops focused on Company Search Techniques are available to all candidates who wish to participate right up until they sign their apprenticeship contract. If preferred, ISMAC’s administrative team can manage all paperwork and formalities on behalf of the company.
ISMAC has designed the BTS in Operational Commercial Management (MCO) work-study program to be delivered under optimal conditions. The school is committed to innovation and strives to meet the expectations of both its professional partners and students. All BTS MCO classes are conducted in small groups of 18 students, allowing for personalized academic support and fostering teamwork just like in a real business environment.

The holder of the BTS in Operational Commercial Management (MCO) works directly with the company’s customers. They master essential techniques in operational management, commercial management, and team leadership. They continuously implement digital applications, technologies, and information processing tools. The BTS MCO graduate is expected to take on operational responsibility for all or part of a commercial unit.
Holders of the BTS MCO can go on to study for a professional license, a Bachelor’s degree or a business school.
The BTS MCO does not allow any transfer or equivalence. However, students who obtain a mark above 10 in one of the tests can retain the relevant block of skills for five years.
As a reminder, sandwich courses are free for all students. It is forbidden to charge them any fees, even for pre-registration.
However, they will receive a salary during their contract : pay simulator for work-study students.
Training costs are fully covered by OPCOs for students enrolled in this programs. For foreign students, work-study is possible after one year of residence in France with a valid work permit.
